Sashi has over 25 years of experience in Sales and Marketing. She worked as a Corporate Strategist with Silicone India. As Tri-State Manager with Gran Trade and Director of Operations for a Home Helpers of New Jersey, she brings a diverse leadership quality to Advaita Prana. She brings with her skills of a teacher and her passion for Yoga, Ayurveda, and Vedanta studies.

With her Master’s in Ayurveda and Integrative Medicine from Maharishi International University, she practices Ayurveda by helping clients achieve optimal wellness. She has been bestowed with the Yoga Shiromani title from Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center. Sashi has been a TM meditator for nearly a decade. She is very passionate about cooking, theater, travelling and music. Sashi has been a volunteer teacher of yoga for adults and children at the Arsha Vidya Gurukulam since 2007. She also volunteers her time teaching Vedic Heritage to children during camps at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam. With deep roots in the Vedic tradition, she also volunteers her time with Purna Vidya a global organization that teaches the Vedic Heritage to children across the world. She has students in Europe, U.K, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, India, and U.S. She has served as Vice-President on the Hindu Samaj Board in Wappingers. She has also served on the board of Heart and Hand for the Handicapped.
