Dr. (Vaidya) Hemant Gupta
Founder and Director of Holistic Ayurveda Institute and Wellness Centre at Ontario (Canada), Vaidya Hemant Gupta MD in Ayurveda, DNM, is a veteran in Ayurveda bringing over 40 years of expertise in Pulse reading (Nadi Vigyan), Panchakarma, Marma Therapy, more. He is also founder and president of Canadian Ayurvedic Members Alliance (CAMA).
Dr Gupta has been an advocate for Ayurveda, credited for introducing and establishing Ayurveda curriculum and Ayurvedic medicine practice in various respected educational institutions in Canada and USA. He was associate professor, College of Vedic medicine MIU, Fairfield Iowa.
He was honored with Charak Award by AAPNA, North America award of Charak in recognition of excellence in teaching and his valuable contributions to Ayurveda.
He was also nominated as Most Outstanding Teacher of the Year- 1999 by the Maharishi University Student Council.
